With a lack of muscle, and a little under weight I
was something like 10 rocking a Chad Muscalade
with the panther bearings, thinking someday
this stuff'll pay the bills or stuff a duffle bag
with a different kind of bills for the time that it kills
falling on my ass in the backyard wondering
why everyone's been staring..
every manual a balancing act falling
on my grinds unaware of how to properly react
wiping... blood from my cuts thinking I should
probably go back... inside and find
a new hobby to have kick with the cartoons..
like I haven't got a whole lot of friends
but if I did I bet that's the shit, they'd do
so I spit out my fear of falling on the concrete,
on the concrete with a lugi, cause
a busted elbow and a little gravel in the knees
ain't enough to move me, from a dream of kick
flipping a stair case i'm aware of your gaze
ignore your concern, focus on the angst
eyes forward straight face, power in my back foot
..this next ollie's gonna prollly push me off to space
you want me to wait, sit think and hesitate
but I ain't made space on my plate for those days

check the chisel tip I equip and scribble on
anything but the brick in order to live...
check the bit of paint, drip more than a little
Montana on my kicks from the border of it
black background with a confused outline encasing
a white inside, it looked like life and
felt a little like mine, finding anxiety
when questioning how the hell i'm spending all my time
left it in parenthesis, like this is how I said it
encased it in a cloud like how ever you can get it
stealing fat caps from my brothers fat stack
beanie on my head never rocked a snap back
shaking the RustOleum dreaming of the train tracks
waking up in class...where my brain lacks
mark up my desk head hooome to relax...
hunker down and sketch alone with the splats
hissed on the wall, from a can in my fist when
i'm pissed at it all and my friends won't call
40 miles west, with a pain my chest
skin muscle and bone from the nothing I ingest
escaping in the curvature of letters connecting
and transforming into arrows, there goes, a-
nother page in my sketch book another day of tense looks
waiting to pull a marker and leave my mark here
